Race Pace : 2
Time : 60.7 s

Field raced Stands' Rail. Strong pace to the race and only MrChev going forward in the final 1f & an ordinary time. 3 x newcomers left behind early by the pace pressure and never involved.
HoFire supported but smallest of the four with form. IBLad the tallest but narrow with MrChev & Soccer strongly built medium heights. Soccer drift and MrChev well supported at his short opening price.
IBLad press on and led off the rail early with Soccer outside & pressing. HOFire on rail about a length away leading pair increase pace after 1f with MrChev driven to respond to stay with that group and Capt Cool lose ground after an ok start. The leaders through halfway in a group with 1.5L between them & IBLad now a neck clear & Soccer slightly held. Other 3-4L adrift.
Strong pace broke field up inside the final 2f with IBL & HoF cracking before the final 1f. Soccer respond to go with MrChev for a short way inside the final furlong before stalling. MrChev staying on strongly to go clear. Again his finishhas been helped by leaders going too fast and bringing his stamina into play. Hasn't proved he is a fast 5f type but can do better over 6f+. Solid effort from Soccer. IBLad needs to be held up. HoFire effort prob correct & Brocklesby just low OR80s.
