  • Made high price at the Goffs sales.
  • Third season sire has a just reaching average record with 2yos. He gets winners at all distances at about equal rates (possibly suggesting the dam's input is important). He can get odd earlyish 5f winners.
  • Dam was unraced but is a full sister to a superior sprint 2yo (who was the best runner from his dam by some way). She has produced competitive 6f+ 2yos although they have tended to be limited to the 65-77 rating range.
  • Trainer used to identify his early season 2yos and often run up winning sequences with them including on debut. Possibly because of lack of quality that hasn't been the case 2002-4. However the earliest debut runners in each season have usually been competitive at low level but needing a debut run to show peak form STO after a short break.
  • Trainer has had two debuts in 2005, one moderate type at Warwick and one good type a strong second at Newmarket. Better runners tend to debut at at Newmarket, Newbury, York, etc.
  • In summary a solid pedigree to be at least a 75 rated maiden winner and the potential to be better over 6f. Interesting to know why the trainer did not enter him for Newmarket last week.  Profile [66]
