SUMMARY

2Long wait at start with MOW part walked TP & then WD along with Star Ablaze who refused stalls. A low quality field for a Class 4 on profile.
Pinnacle Lad very fit & lack scope but reliable. Got involved in pace duel LTO. Able to get across to race 1 away from rail & lead then settle pace. OArms drawn 1 lower & cross with him to sit second. This pair finish 2nd & 3rd & able to set a usable pace & only stalled later in the final furlong. PLad again showing a good attitude to keep responding. CFlyer had easy run from high draw to sit 3rd on rail. Again faded badly late on. RCaribe cross to outside of group from low draw, held but showing less pace than PL & OA. Outpaced when that pair made an effort 2f out. Never quitr crack & perhaps better 6f.
Market told story with newcomers with Mon Brav at shorter price then expected. Trainer has had 2yo winner & used to get ready debuts until around 2003-4. Jk busy early to correct slow start & looked like a 'Today' ride. 6th but inside from high draw & only 2L off leaders. Able to pounce to lead as front rank stall inside last 1f. Won a little comfortably. MMartini some e-w support from non-FTO stable. 3L off lead from high draw at Hf & sim progress to MBrav. Blocked going for gap but no response when clear run came, Classic 'Eyecatcher' conundrum needing Review info to solve. Bubbelas drift & typical trainer green debut.
PLad probably OR66-72 type & low end of that here. Winner usable 70s but prob not higher. Others fit around that.
