SUMMARY

2Great Stuff. An old-fashioned, heads down, pointless, multi-way pace war, like settling doesn't matter that the surface supports so well. Weaker ones adrift early & field spread over 20L+ at Halfway. Line-of-4 early with Singeur-TW-SP-AG hooked up pressing together. Pressure broke SP & W before Hf and Singeur & AG steam on. GF make effort to progress from 4th towards 1st two after Hf. AG fade inside 2F out. GF never get to Singeur & fade 1F out.
Excellent effort from winer to survive the nonsense & trundle home to a win. Tiring but showing willing attitude. Can rate higher for more settled ride and looks a likeable type who can progress further into season.
AG had bad twisting fall 4 days prior & again show some ability. Bigger type but narrow bodied & not obvious 5f. Show solid pace to press with Singeur & again fade badly. Soft Ground & free running fade followed by fall & then this war soon after. Appears to handle surface so some hope of improvement over further.
Run by Miss Lesley helps confirm view of race as very fast paced. Not go forward early towards stands' side & appear to resent kickback on dry day. 12 lengths adrift at Hf & starting to respond now far enough back to miss the pelting. Jk take her across course to far side after halfway onto better path & clear of any other runners. Showed unusual ability to mount 2F effort to close on the tiring leaders & getting to Singeur late who, still trying hard, responded. MsL going on at finish & a good effort.
