SUMMARY

2Newcomers in 3 of four widest draws and 5th, 7th & 8th through halfway. SCamp run too free on debut and held up on rail early to allow True Red to cross to rail and set the pace. LP & KA on STO from draws 4 & 6 sit in 3rd-4th.
Nadeen lose 2L at the start and race in centre at 4L off leader at halfway. Flapjack held up from inside draw after breaking a little slow. Curtains drawn widest allowed to break slowly and then held up to drop in last. Not outpaced but given time to getbalanced unpressured. Miss Roma from a stable notable for free front runners with older horses. Fizzy in prelims and gave trouble at jock-up & TP late on her own.
TRed 2L clear downhill with Fjack & MRoma having problems keeping balanced. MRoma hung badly right 2F out and pulled back. TRed stalling from 2f out and SCamp went on to lead but faded uphill inside the last furlong.
KA drop away tamely leaving KP to challenge Nadeen to the line with Curtains closing into the faders late on and might have got past other pair late. Flapjack look green still & a minor response when balanced but limited. OR60s form & Nadeen not look superior. Curtains & LP probably rate just over OR70. SCamp a short runner now & lacks scope to develop.
