SUMMARY

2GGS going after rain & using inner track. Some reports suggest stands' rail a negative and deeper. In this race the group close to the rail made bigger prints & divots than Military Call at 6-7 widths off it. Later race handicaps split both sides and far rail group fared best. Group on rail in 2yo race appeared to go through boggier patches and all except winner & MCall seemed to find it a difficult surface to some degree.
RedAv break well and cross to rail and set solid pace. This had others under pressure and all were stalled or fading from inside 2F out. RedAv pulled clear unpressed and eased for 4L loss when 8-9L clear late on. He clearly handled the going well and has a good engine.
No excuse for MCall & prob had advantage of a little better footing. Pintura look smaller in group and not go well on surface & raise doubt over Windsor race. Reignier looked a free running sprint type and got tired. Should develop ok. NStreet another big one from the dam & ridden as if he should go well. Found the going difficult & worth following on faster ground. Ginger Ted look green & got adrift, plugged on into dead faders. Ok effort & OR60s still ok.
RArt looked to refuse to gallop for 2f, well adrift before kicking off, Nothing proved
