SUMMARY

2Strong support for KoL & PHill but neither look ready in Coat & Fitness. Race featured a stiff pace overall. In the first 1f & more 3 horses made an effort to cross in front (XF) of the field to the rail from a higher draw each time. IExp first then freerunning KoL soon after with Jk holding him back once XF but horse not settle. MMann made longer, steady, progress to force to lead after 1f+. This process stretch field out & put pressure on green ones.
MMann settle well in front and pace even until he kicked again on the uphill section to the straight towards 2f out. This take 1-2L out of 2nd & 3rd at halfway, stretch field further and break any midfielders already niggled along.
Sustained pace meant that only MMann going forward in straight as others faded to different degrees. A difficult race for the better newcomers to rate well in with overall pressure applied. Only Rock Of Love made any ground from behind having lost ground at the start. Gentle Beat a notable disappointment.
Winner ready for day but won with a bit in hand and can rate higher. Seems smaller type. 2nd & 3rd bigger models and can improve & open maiden winners at least. 4th & 5th prob ok winners but less able. Seller class 6th & 7th+ no promise unless can improve.
