Fast conditions. Radiohead trainer's 1st 2yo & strong support. Stalls stands' side & field race off them towards mid-track. HS-Mah-FOS form into a Lo3 early, Mah too free & Jk hold her back. HS & FOS pair up to set solid pace for 2 furlongs 2L clear of Mahiki. Ejaab held up early to drop in 4th. Izaaj look green & take time to pick-up & 5th. RHead immed. held up by Jk & get unbalanced. Held up more & 4L last early. A bit of greenness then lose 2-3L more & put him in bad spot. HS increase pace after 2F & drop FOS & 1.5L clear at Hf. Mah at 3L, Ejaab just behind & Izaaj & RHead 6-7L adrift together. Mah, FOS & Ejaab stall between 2f out to 1f out & HS still clear. Izaaj make laboured progress past stallers to 3rd & then fade uphill final 1f. RHead make a good forward move to go past faders easily and pull next to HS. A big effort to do this & then stall late on. HS respond to challenge anyway and pulling away at line. HS goes to QMary & trainer said today wasthe first time she had been under any pressure. Very professional FTO & can improve. RHead's forward move very good & look better class physical type. Ej-Izj-FOS not look higher class nor ready. FOS powerful but tight mover & boots in front. |
