SUMMARY

2Big Audio allowed easy lead and set a modest pace. Raced centre early and then took field over to stands' side 3 furlongs out. This caused some bunching next to the rail but not enough to count as a real excuse.
Big Audio looked laboured holding on. His two previous runs in Group races have been in similarly Slow-Quick races with 2F sprints at the finish. In the first of these he was hampered against the rail and eased. Next time he was outpaced later in the race. He looked at his best in a pace war in the Chesham Stakes and staying on through fading horses. Still possible he will be better for stronger test and perhaps 8f.
