SUMMARY
2Race won in 0.4s Slower than earlier Solario Stakes with this winner carrying 6lbs less. Both races seemed average paces, at best, for conditions. Best progress in Solario by far rail runner & winner here got clear run on rail as leaders rolled left.
Cool Valentine made good debut in solid Lingfield AW race and the first four from that race have ALL won Nurseries now. STO he appeared not to handle Epsom well and not finish the race off properly. Also possibly disadvantaged there by ending up racing widest as the field came stands' side to race at the top of the cambered slope on the firmer going with recent rain.
Got involved in a pace war over 5.7f at Bath next time and faded out of that. Stepped up to 7f and held up and back to showing his FTO form here. Worth looking back to Bath race to check those that faded less than he did. Most look proven moderate but Prima De Vida led him and finished in front of him. Why was that one 25/1 at Bath for a reliable trainer?
