SUMMARY

2Stalls stands' side of straight course. But, RAIL OUT by at least 15yds so rail runners up the Centre-Stands' strip on full width course.
Stiff pace early with visored Firetrap niggled in Pick-up & going on up the rail. Joined by Agent Boo after 1F who was crossing over from wide draw (as the later 2yo winner did). EH & LLR just behind. These four make a pace which stretched the others out = mix of too slow, too poor, too wound up, too held up, etc.
Firetrap running freely & made effort after 2.5F & 2L+ clear at Hf. This stretched the front 4 out with AB niggled, LLR going Ok & EH dropped. Coolella a pivot point in 5th with gaps in front & behind & lose ground at this point. Other 5 some mix of niggled, driven & whipped for most of first half of race.
Strong pace meant that everything faded or stalled to some extent. LLR faded worse than travelled relative to others so perhaps better 5f. Two poor runners in last 2 places at Hf are smaller types unable to go fast enough to kill themselves off. They managed to make what COULD appear solid finishes into the dead horses up front. Both around 5lbs over-rated by current OR marks and ran to Profile on [Est]. Suspect pair.
Coolella outpaced later in race & perhaps not really fade. ABAY some support but Jk quiet afer pace took race away from him early. Quinner upset in stalls & too wound to compete.
