SUMMARY
2Dry, warm day and a lot of kickback.
Signs of the low Draw bias in the result but a bit more complicated. Angie's Nap break well from high draw and race centre by switching left early. She ran very well considering she race widest, and most prominently on the first 4 home. Her quick break meant she cleared the problems caused by MJAM breaking left. Those drawn 7-12 all lose notable ground early to assist the low draw bias 'View'. But worth noting that the winner & Usq'bach both seemed to make good ground when switched furthest over towards the far rail.
Strong pace and fading up front allowed closers from 3-5L back at halfway to get involved. Venture Girl finished 4th without ever really being in the race and lacking the pace to go early.
What to make of Yeah? Taller in this group and made ground comfortably against the early pace after a slow start to be 4th at halfway. Travelled like the best horse for a long way although not look fully committed on head carriage. Faded very quickly after closing up to challenge as the pacemakers folded to the last 1F. 3rd bad fade in last 3 runs so clearly not one to trust. But, if he can travel that well on this surface he must be usable sometime.
