Poet's Voice intended to be held up because runs too freely in races although reportedly relaxed at home. Would probably have held on in the Acomb Stakes LTO but for running too freely. Broke well and clear of the others immediately & got the jump on Jk Dettori and led anyway. Rest of field drop in behind him and follow him to centre track as he went left as jockey tried to hold him from outside stall with stalls on the Stands' rail. |
