SUMMARY

2Slow time & moderate from. Tillys Tale a tiny trier and in excellent condition here & improved to low level rating. Racing close to the stands' rail & prominent an advantage. 4 form up on rail early from higher draws & nothing else involved. Slow breaks from wider draws & moderate runs from better profile newcomers meant it was a race between these 4.
Santas Pal led on rail from stall 14 & fade after halfway. PHill & TTale outside her & go on together after that with Lewyn behind. PHill had been outpaced & faded badly FTO and fail to see race out again. Lewyn had look limited FTO & just plug on. This left the grafter TTale to get home to a probably Seller (OR60) level win.
PHill suspect if she cannot do better is weak race like this & Lewyn similar comments and less ability. Burnt Cream 1st May debut for B. Smart & this is normally a batch of solid types. Market suggest OR68ish and given a quiet ride racing off rail from wide draw. See her best NTO & ok for win in similar low level event. Hathaway e-w support but threw away draw positive with poor start. Active ride as if the jockey knew he was expected to place & 9th to 5th progress later in race. Some promise at low level.
FRose drift in Market to suggest view of her NOTT 2nd as poor form correct. Refused to load having been left to last.
Usually not worth searching the well beaten horses too much in this type of race but Cygnet Committee one to check NTO.
