SUMMARY

Field race Centre to stands side about 8 lanes off the stands rail. I allowed to set slow pace until pace picked up towards 2F out.
Notably slow time and poor to moderate performance level. Greek Islands the second short priced favourite beaten (both Zarooni trained) having been volunteer placers behind Roayh. A good example of the way to read their form is not 'finished behind Coventry placed Roayh' but instead 'easily beaten by Roayh and not much ahead of some garbage..'.
Canada Fleet mildly eyecatching on debut in big field at Newmarket getting from 15th at halfway to 7th. Long SP here and bad effort. Makes the debut race look pretty suspect behind the first 4 homes (and via Surrey Star makes the first 7f maiden run at Sandown questionable as well).
