SUMMARY

Rail Out and Softer Ground seemed to mean that Rail running not an advantage at the meeting. This race a good example with jockey Fortune on NC getting to the lead on the rail with only modest effort and then settled the pace and stacked the others up. This left So Is She running three wide pulling and then making progress wide inside 2f out before hanging to the rail in the last 1F. Still finishing the race off. CMoon behind and a little green overall and making ground wide inside the last 1f. In both cases running down a horse that got a comfortable lead on the rail not usual and no progress from the stack back of rail runners.
NC run well whatever the bias and best kick and 1.5 clear into the last 1f and then stalling late to be caught.
Barwick another to make ground wide and from well back after being left in the stalls with the jockey trying to get the hood off (Moon Man, eh Tony). Pace not look that strong but 'Closers' doing ok and increase view that NC ran well despite the late race fade.
