SUMMARY

Hints of Stands' Rail bias at previous meeting. Previous 2yo race on card saw field race stands' side and the best 'closer' off an ordinary pace along that rail (a solid profile so might have been the best horse anyway). Nifty Shiftin ran down the Stands' rail here with bulk of field 5+ lanes off it. Quite possible some some of bias. Other pair to run closest to the rail were 2nd (Karuga ran lanes 2-4 overall) and 4th (Darnathean, switched off Rail to try to make progress in last 2f off the slower pace). Which would mean Roedean ran a little better than the final result if there was a bias. Check how this winner performs NTO.
