SUMMARY
Rain forecast for morning before racing. Going Stick reading from 07:00am. Stiff to Strong NE Wind and temperature only up to 7-8 degrees C. Half Tailwind from the right.

Uodate June 2nd = Video now available. Run Notes to follow.

Odd race with Mrs Brown's Boy losing 7L at the start but close to the leading line 2F out when the finla efforts made. Smaller and compact and not a better type. Seems likely he was able to close up and wind for two main reasons. Incompetence and lack of fitness (and some ability) from the last 3 home and a disadvantage in racing down the rail as Fletcher Christian did. MBB racing well away from the rail on his own for the whole race. Noticeable that the rail side runners kicking up divots while he was not. Seems untypical FTO win for trainer Harris for external reasons rather than readiness of MBB.

FChristian noted as usable medium type FTO but with a suspect trainer. Competent here and had negative of running the rail but able to set his own pace.

Jimmy Elder probably a smaller one and ran competently but along the rail. Okish effort at 2F out but early fade. Perhaps not typical of a GDWD debut for Hannon which are often useful and some the best he has.

Hats Off very heavily built and did not look fit enough because of that. Ran a bit too freely in Lane 1 and an early fade. Looks ok type for OR75 but short-runner at present.

Strong Conviction too green to compete and driven along from early on but looking clueless and not responding and losing ground and hanging instead.
