SUMMARY
GF from G on Decs. Medium Southerly Wind as a Direct Headwind.

Stalls Centre.

Haggas had been interviewed at NMKT gallops at some point and asked about Adaay. Said he wanted the horse to have more experience before going to RASCT. Said he had been a quiet horse and no problem when he came to him from the breeze up sale. However, at NWBY on debut he surprised them by showing a lot of immaturity - calling, difficult to saddle and not tuned up in the race. Wanted him to be professional for RASCT. The prep had included taking him to NMKT when racing was on to have him walk around the paddock. Which he had done well.

Haggas in his interview seemed very confident about Adaay's and clearly saw this race as a test against Mind Of Madness. But not one he expected to lose. Haggas a trainer who usually does have a good knowledge of how good his 2yos are. Race developed as Haggas expected with Adaay & MoM racing alongside each other throughout and Red Connect giving a lead that was just fast enough to stop Adaay pulling too much. Adaay taller than MoM and a bit stronger and always on top in the 2F work trial against MoM and seeing the race off well. Notably straight and balaned mover. Presume he will go to the Coventry but inclined to think he is bit below the better Coventry winner levels and would need a softer version to compete to win.

Mind Of Madness a medium one and had bulked up a bit since NMKT FTO but still less strong than Adaay and less deep bodied. One niggle in that although pressing Adaay in the last 2F MoM never really balanced and moving straight. Offering to hang left overall and prob only stayed straight because Adaay was on MoM's left. Could produce a stronger effort running straight and 88-92 range.

Natural Order's win FTO was in a muddling race which has worked out in mixed fashion. The one susbsequent was in a weak race at bath and the 2nd and 4th have been beetan as favourites STO. But, the two Hills horses who ran in the race are still to run again and 75+ and Flying Machine would have won STO but for finding RIPN to difficult to handle. But NO a lesser type than the first two home and less neatly made, slightly gawky neck and so on in comparison. But not 20/1 worse. Looks like he would do better at 7f and blwon away by the first two for speed when the efforts went-2f but holding the gap once into stride.

Red Connect one of those McCabe 2yos where he is struggling to know what to do with it. His main Angle with horses of a switch to SWEL failed LTO and RC a bit free in the lead here and then looking a bit ouchy in the last 2f and not even picking up to his best not as willingly as usual. Why run him in a race where he is over-matched? No strong hopes the trainer will get him back to running to his low 60s level.

Sallabeh talked up by Margarson in 214 and Fallon riding and so the higher [Prf]. The trainer can get strong debuts with his best horses. But, he averages about one winner a year and gets enthusiastic about lots of 2yos before they run looking back and many of them moderate to poor. Which means trying to find this-year's-Winner algorhytmically difficult. On Prev she is a medium one for a filly and neatly made but just middling power. Hauled back at the start here to race 2R and travelling ok to the average pace. But losing ground and dropping last as soon as the pace started to wind-2f+. She is clearly better than that and it looked greeness and perhaps a bit overawed. Fallon tried running through his various rein changing, gathering and squeezing tecniques with little response until he decided that was enough and drew his whip towards the last 1f. But, then put it down again and opted to leave it for STO and trundle home with the pottery RC. Sallabeh better than this but hard to judge whether she has anything to back up the trainer's bright summary.
