SUMMARY
GF as on Decs. Watering but no Details Given. Rail Fully In. Medium+ Westerly Wind = close to a 3/4 Tailwind from the Right.

Charlie Croker sold at the Goresbridge Breeze sale for €82,000 having made only €16,500 as a yearling. Watching the video you would guess the increase in price because of the Breeze. Looks a smallish but neatly made and ready 'Now' 2yo and was presumably a small 1yo and so the price. But, looks a natural runner in the Breeze and a fast action sprinter and moves balanced. Not much scope and WYSIWYG. Start here with an App5 jk and is he size limited?

Moderate looking field, and small with it, for a £7,000 winner's Prize plus a £10,000 bonus. Fast Conditions and a Tailwind. Later 5f handicap won by OR62 5yo in 62.69s (also Made All) carrying 6lbs more.

Dark Reckoning a smaller and low slung. On the plus side she has bulked up a bit and combines a mostly professional attitude with being a full-on trier. Got a soft time in the lead on the rail and her solid effort (given her size) 2f out enough to get a break on the others that made her victory. Beginning to get a bit pottery by the line as stalling back. Prob barely 60s form to win the £17,000 and looks size limited. Spencer looking big on her and avoided hauling her to the back to lose (hooray). Job done and not much scope but given her likeable attitude will find lesser Northen Nurseries she can compete in (even off OR74? - check what she actually gets).

Charlie Croker looking a smaller but natural 5f sprinter on his Breeze video when allowed to blast along on a straight course on his own. Here, he is on an uphill course with a bend and undulations and the A5 jk wants to 'ride a race' on him and get him to drop in and settle then pull out and make his effort to order. Very different fromt he point-and-shoot 1.5f of the Breeze. Which meant he look a bit green and not knowing what to do at times and the A5 asking him to start his effort by running 2 wide around the bend while Dark Reckoning was running the rail competently. An ok effort in the HS but stil looking a bit wary (or confused because he wanted to do what the jk might ask but couldn't make out what the A5 was trying to convey). A bit bigger than DR and an ok build. Lacks scope but no reason why he shouldn't get late 60s to 70 as a full on 5f sprinter allowed to roll. Rather see him at FFOS on a straight 5f or allowed to lead on the rail at CATT. Or with a jk more capable of commanding the situation on a more technical set-up.

Duffueld 2yos looking in better order and DR's was the 3rd win in 10 days. Doppler Effect another bit of evidence for that with a competent debut and looking in good condition. Ran fine and tried hard in chasing the stablemate. But, looked small and neat and a bit 'Toy' in the 1yo picture, and still too small now. Smallest in the field probably and lacking the bulk that makes DR almost bearable. Perhaps a 60? downhill with a tailwind but no interest.

Never Easy - given the low level of the race on profile than a solid FTO by a Fahey runner would often be enough to win. But NE much too clueless to show what he could do. Head Up looking startled for most of the race and never balanced on the ground. Similar size to CCroker, or poss a touch bigger, but unable to show anything here. As a opening level stick him as similar to Charlie Croker and see if he looks more knowing STO.

Smart Stepper has been a problem horse to even get him to start a race and run at all. Hood here and the jk after him in some way for most of the race. Responding grudgingly fo the most part but hen fading early or part packing it in. But, a small one with a bit more build than DE but less than DR. Lower to mid 50s if he were ven fixable?
