SUMMARY

=== Post Race ===

No doubt the best horse won with Heraldic another of the MaJo STOs to go clear in the last 1f looking diferent horses and different in an oddish way. But, Heraldic left with the job of seeing off Golden Hello (smaller medium and not seeing the race out) and Cappy Brown (smaller medium , less strong than GH and also running green) in the HS. For some reason the race broke into two part downhill with a big gap back from the front 3 to the others.

In the case of Vestavian (bulky) that looked like an attitude issue and he packed it in. The jk immediately active slapping and hitting with the whip as if this was expected. Cross Examine looker smaller and a bit lightly made in the group and off the back from early on running a bit green. Got back onto the group at the start of the downhill stretch but soon dropped again (Heraldic up the pace at halfway?). Hard to see why the trainer gave CEx a positive write up in 215 (check nursery 4TO set-up, eg A5 still). Check why Criminalistic (a bit smaller than Heraldic all round) dropped back downhill. Got well behind them stayed on past the faders from the front 3 late on with Heraldic already clear and going strongly through the line.

[June 28th] No obvious excuse for Criminalistic unless he had trouble with the hill. Being niggles along a bit on the uphill for the first 2f. Dropped back by 4L+ down to and around the bend. Just low level plugging on and lacking size in the group. Steps up to 7f 3TO but hard to see him being above 60s and would need a weak race to compete to win.
