=== Post Race ===

[July 12th] Field raced on Far Rail with a stop start pace. Lo3 after 1f with Cape Speed on the rail with Robinneilly & Barbourous Relic outside him and hooked up to some extent and both running a bit too free with the eyeballing. BR than pulled to the lead around Halfway with Kraftwork moving up on the outside to join him. That pair then slowed the pace and stacked those behind. This led to Robinneilly getting unbalanced and looking cumbersome when asked to switch out to centre track to make his effort in the last 2f. Stylish Boy had been running green in last and jk then found himself running into the back of the leaders after Halfway. SB also having to switch out wide to make his later race effort.

Robinnielly a positive before his first run on the visual evidence of his owner's picture. A bit long necked and perhaps lacking some body length but a tall one and ok build. Here he looked a tall one in the group but niggles over whether he moves well enough. Seems to have an upright front and does not seem to use much range in front. Fading early here after running a bit free but not a full excuse. At present have him down as a good sized one who doesn't have the movement efficiency to achieve that full physical presence promise. Check if the movement improves as he matures.

Stylish Boy looking a negative on his 1yo picture on the Fahey website. Looking a bit better on a later picture on the MPR website. On VRev here looks to have develped well. Still shorter but with ok length. Seemed to have bulked up well in front and soild body width. Jk here clearly most interested in stopping SBoy running too freely and anything else secondary. Held immediately and dropped onto the rail in last. Ran a bit green and the usual niggling from the jk after the horse accepted the hold and starting to drop off the back. With the leaders dropping the pace in the 4th x 1f the jk allowing SBoy to make progress on the rail but then found himslef boxed in and climbing over the back of the front rank and took until 1f out to switch out to centre. Ok effort from there for minimal asking. Seemed ok promse in the run and upgrade on the physical rating.
