=== Pre Race ===

Another example where both Hannon fillies are talked about as smaller, ready and early types by the trainer in 215. Why the late starts? Jks are Moore (Bahaarah) & Crowley (RM). Bahaarah up as around 11/4 2nd fav in am but how much of that just Hannon/Moore respect and nothing to do with the physical type of the horse? For example, Moore has ridden 3 x Hannon debuts in the previous week as Dubai's Secret (8th/13 at 8/1), Hairdryer (4th/7 as 10/11f) & Dark Forest (6th/11 at 11/4). Feels like Moore on the horse FTO can just be him keeping up his contacts with a powerful stable he was apprenticed to. Rather than an 'eyecatching booking' every time. Still need to judge the horse first then assess what Moore brings to the deal. Worth watching a few Moore debuts rides because he is averagely proactive at most and tips into Educational rides quite often. Leaving the feeling it would need a useful natural for him to get a debut win. That's what he will have been doing for Stoute who wants easy intros to develop a career.

=== Post Race ===

Stalls spread from far rail to Centre track. White White a fast break in Centre track and lead there attended by Pour Pavot (Orange). Field split into 2 with Lady Macapa (green) ending up leading a trio Far Side. Picture below shows set-up coming up to 1.5f run. Before halfway the jk on Lady Macapa cutting across to join the Centre Group. By halfway LM a neck up on WW with the pair spaced apart. A Fast Time and the wind an X-Wind and seems a real solid time and not just conditions assisted. Field spread over a lengthy distance by halfway and looking like a sustained solid pace but the right side of usable to be a pretty efficient way to run the 6f. The lesser ones and unready dropped by halfway and even the 2R starting to be niggling along around that time.

Not obvious the Listed Empress Stakes the next day is going to be any better. Is it? Check times for how fast conditions were.

[July 14th] Little promise from Roman Magic. If you were trying to propose, the default gushing upbeat summary of every actor involved in British racing, the what could you say? You would say she was green so this poor run could be discarded. You could say she was deep bodied and bulky in the sire HRE's body shape types. Struggling after that. A VRev take on her would be that she is a stodgy, square box body lacking any length and not moving athletically. Seems to potter along in front using little range. A type where the power available is not match with an efficient system to apply it to fo forward. RM effectively dropped here for pace before halfway. Some of that green but looking more fundamental. RM steps up to 7f STO but you would want to see some evidence of her movement being better as well as her looking like a racehorse mentally STO.

[July 15th] Freedom March given an odd ride but no explanation given. Broke a bit slow but in 2R ok in the first 1f, Then allowed to lose ground and adrift by halfway with the jk doing nothing. FM hanging left a bit in the last 2f and eased by the jk before 1f out. Trying to guess at what was going on you would say FM in headgear for debut and showing a KA in fornt with some splaying. This a fast race on fast ground and perhaps the jk felt she wan't handling the track/going?? But, that is what the WTRB system is for. So the jk doesn't wlak back in having told only the trainer and leaving everyone else guessing. Medium size and build. Check whether movement i fron fundamentally an issue.
