SUMMARY
GGF by race time. G in early am from GFG on decs.

Stalls centre.

=== Pre Race ===

Paddy Power the horse whom Fahey tweeted videos of twice in Winter & early spring. The latter Video showing him staying on away from other 2yos (incl winners) in an uphill group gallop). PP at ASCT on debut with a reputation and favourite. 2 poor runs so far and similar final 2f having looked an strongly built medium sprinter. In each race lesser pick-up 2f out, hanging right then folding early looking pained. Expecting to hear before 3TO PP had some physical issue that had been addressed. This the Fahey quote in his SLife piece = "We run Paddy Power in the opening Maiden Stakes and I’m afraid it’s got to be a watching brief. We were extremely disappointed with him at Haydock last time as he’s such a good work horse, but he’s got questions to answer now".

Which doesn't sound like they have tried to fix a physical issue with Paddy Power. But at 5/1 in a 'Major' maiden which is often fairly empty (2013 produced only claimer & nurseries winners for eg) he starts to become an interesting price hgaving been overbet on hype 1st 2 runs. Ridden by A5 Bell who is getting a lot of rides for Fahey and doing fine - including a set of 6 wins in 5 days in mid-June. Also worth noting Fahey on TML saying he felt his 2yos were behind schedule this year and the best ones were still to debut. (A minor caveat there because this the man that talked up Warcrown, PP, Milady Eileen, etc, etc)

=== Post Race ===

Some thoughts immediate post race. Paddy power settling better than LTO and drop to 5f looking better. Travelled fine and picked up at 2f out this time. Probably ravelled bes tand looked th elikely winner and, despite being a bulky colt, part intimidated out of it by the filly Plagiarism PP looking at the filly and being bumped and carried left by her and not putting his head dow. Seemed to be in control until lack of concentration and reacting to the bump. But, clearly showing a lot of the promise at home that had Fahey hoping he wasn't just a 'Morning Glory'.

Johnston post race saying Plagiarism would have raced in early season but for a setback. First entered for a race on April 23rd. Perhaps a touch taler than the short and compact PP. YORK race which Wolowitz & Geno came from looking lesser form and hard to see why the prices between Wolowitz & Geno so different. Geno a negative in VRev, smaller than expected and lacking any snap to his movement. Wolowitz a bit taller and looking readier and more enthisiastic here.
