SUMMARY
Hottest July Day ever recorded in Britain with 36.? Celcius recorded at Heathrow, a short distance from the course. Going Changed to 'Standard to Slow' before the meeting started.

=== Pre Race ===

Breeze Video for Ribbing mostly positive and interesting to think about how she had, visibly, been fired up to try to do a fast time there with her starting over 7f 2.5 months later. Simcock been looking to calm her down? Hard held in the gather and giving the rider a hard time making irregular big pulls against the hold. Rider than switches into 'GO' mode at the 2f pole and suddenly wants Ribbing to rattle along as fats as she can. Head down and a trier and just above average cadence. Slows cadence down and a bit more reach last 1f and finishes the breeze off. Looking a good medium frame with length and neck a bit long. Uses her range in the breeze. Just above medium strength for frame. Moves correctly so all looking fine for 75+. Marked her down her because Spencer, Draw 8 and you would presume an 'educational intro' to ensure none of that Breeze prep fizziness resurfaces. Would probably need 83+ and some kind of Pace War for her to win?

=== Post Race ===

Very Slow Time & how much of that due the the SSW going? = Watching the race though and a Slow Pace to add to the slow going. Dutch Heiress looking a good size in the group and getting an easy time leading on the rail. Field stacked in Ranks of 3-4 fillies behind with many racing too wide. DH just upping her pace a bit after Halfway and getting a 1L+ break on the rest. Jk Catlin continuing that early upping of the pace to turn the final race effost into a full 2.5f+ HS effort and put enough pressure into the race to split DH, and the 3 other best fillies from the rest. Ther gap back to 5th real. Hawksmoor talked up by Palmer in 215 and looking a bulky & strong one of a solid size. Made up ground in the HS comfortably and going away at the finish and winning with some comfort. Only mild issue when the jk appeared to lose his whip and 'catch' it with his left hand off the reins and not attending to the ride in the last 1f.

Dutch Heiress a 25/1 2nd to add to a 50/1 2nd for Prescott the previous day. His First Batch 2yos taking time to show it but all competitive 2yos as expected The 6 debuts you could tem his First Batch included 2 x debuts wins and the other 4 have all placed 2nd either STO or 3TO.
