=== Pre Race ===

Hannon presumably hoping that the race would divide. Jks = Hughes (Zebadiah), Dobbs (In The Red), KT O'Neill (Burningfivers), KellySW (Danehill Kodiac).

Hannon in 215 saying he thought Danehill Kodiac would be one of their earliest runners. Adding that he has grown and "shot up" and looking weak because of that. Expected he might get him out in May. July start over 7f suggesting he has changed a lot and not a typical Kodiac.

Breeze Video for Manton Grange showing a medium sized one (at most), medium depth but strongly made with it. Above average length and up behind. Average cadence at most and breeze a touch trundly. Some KA and uses a bit more reach as tiring late on.

=== Post Race ===

Last 3 winners of the race have all placed at Group level, 2 as 2yo and one at 3yo (only ran this once at 2yo).

[July 25th] Slower Pace with filed jogging along in Centre Track in roughly 3 Ranks with Wannabe Friends green and a bit off the back. A number pulling and held.

Recorder running better than the final result and without a couple of blocked after halfway might have won. But a sloppy race overall beginning with being leant on the side of the stalls and a slow break. Then running freely and pulling forward. That meant the jk was happy to get squeezed back to the back rank to get some cover. But in the wrong place for the slower pace as the Halfway to Final positions of the first 4 home show. Only 3L back at halfway but then ran into a dead end before 2f out efforts started and switched right. Good effort to get to 3rd before 0.5f out but then running into the back of Zebadiah late on when there was notthing to stop him running down the left hand side of Zebadiah. Looking a solid upper 70s type but seemed to show more than that with the later race effort here. Check how the race quality develops.
