SUMMARY
G in early am from GSG on Decs. 33mm Rain Fri, 7mm Sunday.

Rail fully in.

=== Post Race ===

Race reads like a too Strong pace set by Hyaline & with Brave Archibald running too free. Hyaline has failed to see out shorter distances in previous races. With Rockley racing prominently & poorly that leaving a poorly defended race. See what VRev shows.

A counter argument would be that trainer Balding has a terrific record over 7f at thecourse. He has had 23 runners at the course since start 2006 only 2 have failed to make the first 3 with 7 wins. The early wins were 9/1 to 16/1 range and later ones 6/1 and under and seeming the Market had caught on to Balding's record here. The two non first runners were disappointing runs by ok types in 2014. Both of that pair have won at 3yo and, at some point & bogus or not, got rated OR80+. Suspect the 28/1 win a mix of the race falling apart a bit but also Lorelina being better than a homebred ridden by an A5 sounds and the SP 'wrong' to some extent in reflecting her ability.

[Aug 23rd] Looking just an Average Pace with Hyaline getting a comfortable lead and looking the likely winner untikl fading-0.5f. Lorelina & Prince Of Arran not really handling the camber in the HS and both offerring to hang left for much of it. Producing similar efforts and seeing the race out fully. POArran looking at least a god sized medium with length. Strong front. Should be ok for 75+.
