SUMMARY
GSG by Race Time after one Heavy Shower and some spells of light rain during the am. GGS in early am as on Decs. 14.5mm Rain Sun to Tue.

Stalls Stands side.

=== Pre Race ===

Picture on the MaJo website of Shepherd's Bush interesting. IP body length, deep bodied and built like a bull, apparently. Like a Fahey 'Paddy Power' physical type? Looks mentally composed. Is he going to be medium sized and really strong or a smaller one and a worry over the limitations in size & range an issue?

Middleman WD on debut after Bolting TP. His VP picture from that day showing a deep bodied medium on with some length. Not fit and a bit less well made behind. Wearing an XNB and already starting to 'dance' on the walk to the Parade Ring. Also seems to have caught Hannon's eye (by the way he is acting?).

Simple Attack an NR 2 days for this race beacuse of Soft ground at BVLY. That race was over 7.5f which doesn't suggest this 6f debut is other than an afterthought, get this thing out for debut to get him started(?).

=== Post Race ===

Slow time and this race even 75 quality?

[Comparison Pictures] of Dream Mover & Waslawi = which one opened 6/4f and which 28/1?

You could have much the same Steward's Enquiry over, probably the majority, the running of many Prescott 'Later Batch' 2yos.

Steward's Enquiry Report Full text = "The Stewards held an enquiry into the running and riding of COTE D’AZUR, ridden by Chris Catlin and trained by Sir Mark Prescott, which was restrained leaving the stalls and settled towards the rear, before staying on under apparent tender handling in the final one and a half furlongs to finish seventh, beaten 8¼ lengths. They interviewed the rider and the trainer’s representative. They also received a report from the Veterinary Officer, who confirmed that a post-race examination of the colt failed to reveal any abnormalities, and heard observations from the Handicapper. The rider stated his instructions were to track the leaders, but importantly obtain cover as COTE D’AZURE has been known to run freely at home. He added that he commenced to ride the colt along under a hands and heels drive from approaching two and a half furlongs out, but COTE D’AZURE felt outpaced and raced greenly before staying on evenly to the line. The trainer’s representative confirmed the instructions and stated that he was satisfied with the ride given to the colt. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race the Stewards noted their explanations.".
