SUMMARY

GFG in early am from GGF on Decs.

Strong to Stiff WSW Wind = 3/4 Headwind on Ridge, 1/2- Headwind in HS.

CoC quote = "Rail dolled out from 6f to 2.5f. Moved out another 4 yards yesterday evening over yesterdays running line. Adding 12 yards to distances". Really hard to understand how this works. On Weds the rail was out by 3yds from the normal inner line from 6f out to the 2.5f out cutaway. That added 7yds to Race Distances. We shift exactly the same rail out by another 4yds and add only 5yds more (12-7 =5). Or is this 12yds on top of the 7yds already reported the previous day. Which doesn't make sense either. CoC's need to come around the other side of their 'information provision' to understand how amateur and ad hoc it appears. They do not have the propert respect for getting the information as close to 100% correct and consistent as possible. Ah hello there CoC, we are going to put your salary 'out' by 5yds. Since 'out' can mean +ve or -ve, and 5yds can equate to a huge range of possible changes to advertised salary, we realise that looking at your next payslip is going to be an adventure into the unknown. But hey, that's your problem, not ours.
