=== 1st View ===

Average pace with quartet racing in 2 pairs past Halfway close together. Tow colts in Leading Pair looking smaller with Fishergate a bit less size than Heraldic The only filly in Easton Angel a touch bigger but noticeably the bulkiest. EA ridden confidently and dropped in 2R then making progress comfortably. Jk had to ask for a bit more effort with, the presumably smaller but fit trier, Fishergate sticking at it. EA a comfortable winner int he end and looking a bulky smaller sprinter. No surprise that trainer Dods gets a FTO winner as a notable ready FTO trainer (often regress a bit STO compared with most trainers). But, a surprise that the Market knew about it (not that much signal seems to get to the Market from his yard with 2yos although the days of 100/1 FTO wins long gone). This might be that the Market is slowly catching on, it took about 15 years to finally catch up with David Evans' FTOs and still hasn't with Fahey fully after 7-8 years. Seems likely that Easton Angel really has been showing up well at home though and some real signal getting through.

=== Post VRev ===

Easton Angel out of a dam who was a small and poor sprinter. EA only cost 15k but the dam's 5 previous foals have achieved absolutely nothing and 15k is more than the other 5 have raised at sales in total between them. Which makes 15k sound positive because you can be sure there wasn't any daft 'pedigree analysis' or 'residual breeding' bollocks included in it. Looking a smaller on but notable powerful behind in this group. Comfortable winner in a slower time. Hard to judge but shape of the circumstantials suggest a late 70s one or perhaps will rate higher. Might try Listed level.

Fishergate the smaller end of the dam's output for the owner breeder. Looks a ready one but already complete shape and size. Might be around a 70 one with Fahey training.

Heraldic another owner bred out of a dam who was a minor winner in the US but relared to a Grade 1 winning filly. Picture on the MaJo website making him look a smaller and ready one lacking scope. Appeareance here seemed to confirm that. Got a soft lead on the rail but left behind by the first 2 at 2f out and seemed just lack of ability relatively. Perhaps a mid 60s one lacking scope.

Bertie Buoy a similar size tot he other males but a bit greener and losing touch by 2f out before a mild rally. Still an early fade. Mid 50s nursery type?
