Steward's Enquiry Full Text = "The Stewards held an enquiry into the running and riding of LEE'S HALL (IRE), ridden by Shane Kelly and trained by Gary Moore, which was restrained in the rear and travelled well before being asked for an effort from one and a half furlongs out to finish fifth beaten 4¾ lengths. They interviewed the rider and the trainer. They also received a report from the Veterinary Officer, who confirmed that there were no apparent abnormalities post-race, and observations from the Handicapper. The rider stated that his instructions were to drop in and get the colt to settle this being the first attempt at 7 furlongs, and make his best way home. He added that LEE’S HALL (IRE) had become upset and fractious in the preliminaries and he was conscious not to rush the colt up which would get him running too freely. The trainer stated that he was happy with the ride which accorded with the instructions he gave the rider. He added that he had concerns about the soft ground and that the colt is very excitable and was pleased with the way it ran. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race the Stewards noted their explanations".
