SUMMARY
Gd in early am as at Decs. GStick broken - first meeting for 6 weeks and they get the GStick repaired this week.

Outer HS in use.

Unusual Easterly wind, 12 to 15mph with higher speed gusts, close to a direct Tailwind in the HS.

=== Pre Race ===

Went back and watched Keiba's Breeze Video. Sold at the London Sale on RASCT eve with Breeze on KTNA HS. Looks buzzed up for the sale but still able to listen to the Rider. Shows a fast action in the first 1f but overall impression of middling reach/range at best. Changes lead into last 1f and gradually tires and no extra reach as does so. Runs straight until tires but looks to have a one-gear Blast lasting 1.25f. Price probably part related to his bulk. Compact body and perhaps not much above smaller frame. But deep and chunky body.
Keiba making his debut back at KTNA over 6f. Involved in a slow Pace Race with nothing wanting to lead and a lot of horses pulling. Keiba in an XNB and a bit free overall but, as in his breeze, never out of control and others worse behind. Got a good spot in 2R on Rail and in a good position for the 2F sprint in the HS, 2nd inside-2f around 1L down. Fading badly in the last 1f as if a short runner as the Breeze hinted at. Looking a bit smaller frame than the first 3 who pulled clear and his build ok but in a smaller model (check?).

Macho Mac's effort FTO could be visually promising in VRev. A bit free, making progress from Midfield to be 2R wider out until tiring last 0.5f. But looking a similar size to Gandvik in VRev and not that taking. Checking race 522 and everything that has run since from it has run to notably lower ratings and no wins. Presume 522 over-rated and Macho Mac a 60s type in Prev here? In 215 Morrison saying Macho Mac a "wiry type of sire,... will find his level". Which fits better with the 60s & suspect view of race 552's rating.

Breeze Video for September Issue also from Goffs' London Sale. Looks a taller type than Keiba (check) & a bit less bulky. Still a bit compact body length and deep enough. Comes across as a bit front heavy with a bigger head. Faster cadence and only tiring last 0.25f of the breeze. Looking a bit stodgy mover with middling range, at best.

Fahey jks = Hamilton (Showbizzy) & Nolan (Rose Marmara).

=== Post Race ===

Pictures below of halfway position. Winner Comedy Night not in the first picture because he is racing alone on the Stands rail and some distance behind the leading trio in Centre track. Second picture shows Comedy Night in the foreground on the Rail a few strides after the first picture take.

Faster Time but note the Stiff to Strong Tailwind from an unusual direction. Jk on Comedy Night making a conscious move to the Stands' Rail and left isolated as the rest of the field formed up in centre track. Sporting Life comments-in-running says CNight "made all", which is nonsense. Even looking at the Video Replay it is obvious he is well behind the leading trio of Entertaining Ben, Wernot'more & Macho Mac and might not even be in the first 6 at Halfway. The real Halfway Positions to Final placings read like a too fast pace by the Centre Field main group.
