Rodaini review – There had probably been 20 mins of steady rain by the time this race went off which might account for the time differential. Nothing the quality of Thunder Snow in this group.

Rodaini – Full medium, seemed to have a small head and a bit weak necked, then again if he has a small head maybe he doesn’t need a big neck. Did not stand out as a particularly special one but knew his job and buckled down showing speed under a lot of pressure from SDS 82

Macgillen – Another big Charlie Hills boy, powerfully made throughout and ran on really well. I wonder why Frankie was up and not Holland. Good shape with a deep girth, looked at him next to pictures of Cotai Glory and he may be a bit bigger but not quite such a powerful behind. 89

Prerogative – Another great effort by a lesser type produced to give his absolute professional best by Hannon. 77

Outre Mer – Very green in prelims, lower medium balanced and well proportioned. Size limited at present 76

Black Trilby – Compact medium, strongly made and muscled up as though he was ready. Perhaps over faced on the outside but looking for excuses. 78

Maazel– Small, not much behind the saddle. 70

Forster Square – Looked fully fit, small and on the greenish side. Light. 67

White Chin – No photo – Coarsely made, big and heavy. 65

Melcano – Small, ordinary, doesn’t look to have much potential. 57

Jackman – might be the one that Tony Carroll gets his 2yo winner with, not a bad model in a small and light sort of way. 69
