Night Law review – Tight race with a bunch of smallish swift girls.

Night Law – Fell down in the saddling box and was very spooky in the prelims. Just enough to think she would not compete well enough but jumped well with Blue suede from a wide draw and toughed it out. Just a bit more strength and depth than the 2nd and 3rd. No more than lower medium 76

Her Terms – Has not been able to take advantage of her ability and fitness early season and is now going to struggle at better courses due to her size. Probably will have to be sent north by Mr Haggas to get her maiden win. 75

Blue Suede – Brave little filly, fraction lighter than Night Law and a bit less well made than Her Terms. 75

Halinka – Plainish looking and not as fit as one might expect from Mr Varian on her 3rd run. Lower medium 70

Dashing Poet – Ok but nothing special, lower medium, not that fit. 70

Heart Of Gold – Taller and longer than most of these. Enough athleticism to think she can go on from this. 74

Darkroom Angel – Particularly ordinary looking filly. Small and plain. 58

Newz Watch – Bit bigger than most and I thought she would compete for a place but early pace did for her. Beginning to have my doubts about Harbour Watch as a sire. Seems to get these heavy fronted oones, they have some size but problems with set up. 62
