- 2008 Foal, 16.15hh. Trained by John Gosden for the owner breeder Rothschilds. Full brother to Irish Oaks victress Great Heavens and half brother to Group 1 winner Playful Act and 3 other winners at Group 2 or 3 level.
- Placed 2nd in 8f maidens on both starts as a juvenile. Lost out in a close finish on Debut on August 13th to Frankel. Inexplicably beaten as the odds-on favourite in the 8f Maiden at the St Leger meeting.
- Began his 3yo season with a 12f Maiden win then ran 2nd in a 12f Derby Trial at the Chester May meeting. Bypassed The Derby and won the 12f Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Acot next time out. Returned to the course to win the all-aged 12f Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes in July, defeating Derby victor Workforce. Finished that season with an uplaced run in a 10f Group 1. Ran 4 times as a 4yo beginning with success in the 10f Group 1 Eclipse Stakes. Just beaten in the King George the VI at Ascot in mid-season and 2nd again in the 10f Irish Champion Stakes. Ended his career, as it had started, by being beaten by Frankel (also his last race) in the 10f Group 1 Champion Stakes.
- Retired to the Newsells Park Stud at a fee of £20,000 and still there in 2015 at the same level. 55 Yearlings sold in 2015, of 81 catalogued, for an Average of 104,030gns and a Median at 50,125gns. First Season Sire in 2016.
