S from GSG on Decs. 53mm of rain in Tues to Thur period. 32mm of rain since 19:00pm on Sat (the type of rain that Ascor was forecast but missed). Rain forecast to continue through the day. GStick Never Updated

17DegC. Stiff to Medium SW wind = Half Headwind from Right HS.

Ribbleton the 2nd very cheap buy passed on to owner Armstrong this year when he normally has the £50k+ type. This one just beaten on debut and Back Lane won the doubly bonussed Maiden at PFCT on the day.

Hard race to fathom given the pace looked Ave. Although not visibly quick must have been fast for going. SInstinct LER & raced settled. Ok effort Str but fading last 0.5f and looking likely to be overhauled by the three lesser ones in field plugging on who had been in last 3 places at Hf. SInt just able to do enough to hang on.

Back Lane notably small in group if neatly made and ok att. But Slow Start and green in race. 6.5L back at Hf & nggld. stayed on last 1f to go past faders and not far into 60s. Camatini racing wide and closing up to 3rd before fading ins-0.5f. Another small one & poss not usable 50s. KTCapt swtg AP and MYng. Close up along Far Side until stalling late.

Two Bgr ones IC in 2R tracking winner to Hf and look ok 70s. But Samhaim bulky & shorter lggd & mvg poorly last 2F uphill, ShgL & eased by-1f. Shamardyh Fre TP & at times in first half of race. Just okish Eff in Str to get to 2nd but fading by inside-1f.
