SUMMARY
 GF from GGF on Decs. 3mm of Watering Overnight. GStick 07:30 & 2-3 notches slower than the previous day despite no rain. How much of the watering efect will be gone by race time? 7.6 Centre & FrSd, 7.5 StdsSd (7.8 on Wed)

21DegC. Light Southerly Wind = Close to Direct Tailwind.

Big fields for previous day's Nurs & preceding Sales race over 6f had produced fast paces and prominent horses hanging on from small casts of poss Closers. This race run slower and nothing really wanting press on. 2nd 1f was 10.59 compared to 10.09 in Nurs and 10.13 in Sales rc. Unlike the other two races it wasn't the case that each of the last 5f were run slower than the preceding one. Here the 4th & 5th 1f faster than the 2nd or 3rd. A bunch finish and only LKristale (giving 3lbs) able to separate (racing closest to Stands' RL like Haikbidiac in preceding rc) and Reroute dropping out having run a bit free but made an ok effort -2f+ until stalling-1f. Other than that the other 7 in a 2L+ long group overlapping each other and not a lot happening. Making efforts and fading as a group. .

Trainer Margarson said the ASCT defeat was caused by them not being really sure LK needed dropping in to finish the race. Said the Jk at ASCT (LeeG) hadn't ridden her before & did what he was asked but LK pinged the start and ended up running too hard prominently.
